    Ingredients

    The ingredients needed to make Chole Ki Sabzi:

    1. Make ready 1 cup Kabuli chana, soaked in water overnight for at least 12 hour
    2. Prepare 1/2 cup chana dal, washed

    5. Make ready 3 tbsp mustard oil
    6. Get 1 Small pc of ginger, chopped finely
    7. Take 1 Whole garam masala
    8. Prepare 1 bari elaichi
    9. Prepare 1 small pc of dalchini
    10. Make ready 4-5 laung
    11. Prepare 5-6 Kali mirch
    12. Make ready 1 tejpatta
    13. Get 2 tbsp onion paste
    14. Make ready 1 tsp garlic paste
    15. Make ready 1/2 tsp ginger paste
    16. Prepare 1/2 tsp haldi powder
    17. Make ready 1 tsp red chilli powder
    18. Get 1 tbsp dhaniya powder
    19. Get 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
    20. Make ready 2 tbsp fresh tomato puree
    21. Make ready to taste Salt

    Instructions

    Instructions to make Chole Ki Sabzi:

    1. Firstly take a pressure cooker, add washed chana, salt & chana dal.
    2. Add 4 cups of water, place the lid, give 8-10 whistles at high flame.
    3. Remove it from the flame, let it cool down, keep aside. Do not strain.
    4. Take a wok, add oil, heat it.
    5. Add chopped ginger & whole garam masala, saute it for a while.
    6. Add ginger garlic paste now, add lil water also, saute it for a while.
    7. Now add onion paste, add lil water, stir fry it for a while.
    8. Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it till brown.
    9. Add tomato puree & salt, stir fry it till oil separates.
    10. Now add haldi powder, dhania powder & red chilli powder, add lil water, stir fry it till oil separates.
    11. Add garam masala powder, stir it.
    12. Increase the flame, add chole, stir it for a while. Add water if required.
    13. This dish doesn't require a runny gravy.
    14. Place the lid, give 4-5 whistles.
    15. Switch off the flame, allow to cool down.
    16. Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.
    17. Have it with paratha or rice.
