    1. Peel the potatoes and wash it nicely and keep the potatoes in water for 5 mins.
    2. Grind the chillies and garlic to a coarse paste. Also grind the tomatoes and keep aside.
    3. Chop the potatoes into medium pieces.
    4. Take a kadai and add 2tbsp oil and add chopped potatoes and saute in high flame for 5 mins. Then add coarsely grinded garlic and chilli paste and saute for a minute.
    5. Add tomato puree, red chilli powder, haldi powder and salt and mix well and cover it with a lid and cook on low flame.Keep some water over the lid so potatoes get soft soon.
    6. Cook till completely dry. Garnish with finely chopped coriander. Serve hot with chapati.
